Ordered fried rice so I specified "No peas," git a phone call from the restaurant double checking I didn't mean bean sprouts or green onion. When he arrived he called first which was great as baby was asleep, I did miss his call but I appreciate the effort. I also got a HUGE order of Hot n Sour soup. I thought I was ordering a cup but I feel like I got about 1/3 of a gallon. So. Much. Soup. I also got a brick (nearly two) of rice with the full order. I still haven't eaten it all and I'm on day 4. Portions are for sharing!

Great food, and excellent service. It was odd though when I ordered through GrubHub, and got one of their delivery drivers instead of someone who works for GrubHub. The Crab & Cream Cheese Ragoons are to die for... however I was a little disappointed by the lack of crab. The Sesame Chicken was too sweet, and lacked breading. The eggrolls were fantastic. Both types of cookies were great. Steam rice was good, but fried rice could use some work. The soup could have been chopped, and diced a lot better than what it was.

I loved everything, the crab rangoons were amazing. My only problem was the delivery driver bugging my mom for a tip. I did not select the option to tip, and I out down a $0 tip, I just didn't have the money to give. But my mom went to answer the door and he like wouldn't pet her close the door after she told him there was no tip. He was pulling the door back open so I had to rush back up the stairs and find $2 to give him.

The menu items where great selections too choose from and when the order came on time, the food was fresh and hot the way me and my husband loves. We love their drivers personality and when I had called to make sure it wasn't too late even though I didn't realize they were closing, the owner or whomever spoken too me with pleasant voice and the customer service was great

The food was amazing. They use fresh veggies in their vegetable fried rice. The egg rolls were to die for. My husband got the vegetable egg fu yong. He normally complains about how dry it is and orders extra gravy. Not this time!!!
Oh and the costumer service was excellent.
We will definitely be ordering for here again

China City opened its doors in Oak Park, Michigan in 28 and has even since been climbing the ladder of success. While there definitely isnt a shortage of hungry people to serve, there is strong competition; with ten Chinese restaurants and a variety of restaurants serving other cuisines nearby, its up to owner, Shu Yan, to make his restaurant stand out from the rest. Yans secret is to constantly move forward. "I Earn Money, I spend money, " explains Yan. He never regrets investing his profits in this restaurant. Hes able to research new and trendy ideas and bring them back home for Owner Shu Yan or his customers. The most highly recommended dishes are the Almond Boneless Chicken, Triple Delight, Sesame Chicken, and Bourbon Chicken. Theyre also the most commonly ordered dishes. According to Yan, the recipes are written with the perfect combination of ingredients to create a delicious and balanced flavor.
